Farmville, But For Real

The virtual agriculture game Farmville has 62 million users.

You can plant crops, raise livestock and upgrade machinery all from the comfort of wherever your computer is.

Well soon, you might be able to play this game with a real farm in the UK. That's right, some land in England has been reserved for an experiment where online participants play 'Farmville' with real livestock, land and equipment. But will players who like the uncomplicated virtual farms that have near instant results be interested in a real farm where crops take months to grow and choices you make take years to have consequences?

Apparently, people are signing up. We're still waiting for a real world version of Mario Kart.
