Don't Quit Your Play Job

When we used to play cops and robbers, most of us just had a stick and one of our parents' hats to imagine what policing must be like. Well, the city of Beijing sees your quaint 80's nostalgia and raises you.

Beijing has a new theme park that lets kids try on potential careers, complete with uniforms, props and bosses. It's a virtual city where kids can choose to spend the day handcuffing criminals, fighting fires or controlling a simulated airplane landing. There's even a real 747 stationed at the park for the would-be pilots in the crowd.

Jobs that were strangely left out of the park: tax accountant, call centre IT support, Wal-Mart greeter...
