Deep-Fried Kool-Aid... Yum?

The Kool-Aid Man always says "Oh, Yeaahh!" But this year's new summer fair food hit has got "Oh, Noooo!" written all over it. Food inventor Charlie Boghosian is responsible for deep-frying the sugary crystals. Basically, he rolled balls of Kool-Aid power in flour and fried them.

It sounds terrible, right? But apparently, fair-goers love them. Bogoshian says he has sold up to 600 of these things per day. That doubles the rate of new items he's created in the past, including those crazy deep-friend butter balls we saw at the CNE last summer.

Chances are, you'll be able to get your hands on one of these things at the CNE this year.
