Choose a Flick with this Flowchart

There are a lot of movies out there. And we mean A LOT: the Internet Movie Database currently lists 265,262 feature films on their site. It makes picking the right flick for a quiet Saturday night on the couch kind of confusing.

Luckily, the fine folks at 'The Droid You're Looking For' blog have created this handy flowchart - titled "Which Director's Movies Should You Be Watching?" - to help with your decision:


The great thing about this one is that it will take you in different directions depending on your mood. Some days the answer to the question "Is a train going into a tunnel ever just a train going into a tunnel?" will lead you directly to Alfred Hitchcock. And other days you'll end up following the line all the way to "things that no human should ever really see," which is their shorthand for the films of Takashi Miike.
