A California couple was all set to tie the knot when the groom suddenly had to be rushed to an isolation ward of a hospital with a serious lung infection. Rather than postpone the wedding, the couple decided to go ahead with the ceremony and Skype the groom in from his hospital bed.

In an age of rampant reality show bridezillas, we have to give kudos to this couple for reminding us that the marriage is more important than the perfect wedding.
