Kiss You When It's Dangerous
Chances are, you might have seen this photo by now. It was shot during all the craziness in Vancouver after the Canucks' loss in the Stanley Cup and has gone viral around the world...
Naturally, it got a lot of people asking: who decides to have such an amorous moment in the middle of a riot? Well, the mystery couple has been identified as Scott Jones from Australia and his girlfriend Alex Thomas from Canada. Apparently, they recently started dating and got caught in the violence after the game.
So, how did they end up in this position? Word is, Alex got knocked over by a police shield and as Scott was comforting her, he gave her a kiss. And right at that moment, a photographer took the picture.
By the way, two points for anyone who noted the title of our posting. Kiss You (When It's Dangerous) was a hit song in the mid 80's by 'Eight Seconds', a new wave pop band from Ottawa. Here's the video, just for a little 80's nostalgia...
