Malaysia: You're Not Thinking Straight

Human rights groups are outraged over a program in Malaysia designed to somehow keep teenage boys from being gay. Malaysian public schools are rounding up boys from age 13 to 17, who are "too effeminate." Officials are sending them to "macho boot camps" with the goal of getting them "on the right path."

Homosexuality is illegal in Malaysia, and the boot camps are designed to prevent boys from developing "feminine" characteristics. This month, 66 boys were picked for the camps.

So, what goes on in this macho camp? Religious education and lots of physical training. That's right, an all-male environment completely dedicated to working out. You know, just your typical straight-guy stuff...
