50 Cent has partnered with the World Food Programme on a marketing campaign for a new energy drink called Street King. For every bottle sold, a hungry child in the developing world will get a meal, with 50 stating that his goal is to provide meals for 1 billion hungry people.
50 began thinking about ways he could help fight hunger during a trip to Africa last summer for soccer's World Cup; "I went to Africa," he says in the YouTube video above, "and the devastation I witnessed changed me forever."
So far 50 has raised enough for 2.5 million meals.
