As you know, 27-year-old soul diva Amy Winehouse was found dead of in her London home this past Saturday. And according to spokesperson Chris Goodman, the troubled singer, who battled drug and alcohol addiction, left behind "plenty" of music. Winehouse released two albums in her lifetime, but spent time in the studio on and off for the past few years.
Around this time last year, she said her next album would be released in six months, but it was never completed. It's unclear how finished the tracks are, and Goodman says they are sticking to the family's wishes on whether or not to release them.
As for her fans, they want more of the Winehouse's work. Shortly after the announcement of her death, sales of her music soared to the top of digital sale charts. Winehouse is one of the many iconic rock stars who died at 27. Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janice Joplin, Brian Jones and Kurt Cobain all passed away at the age of 27.
