Up until his retirement last year, Stratford, Ontario's Lloyd Robertson was a nightly fixture in many a Canadian home. First at the CBC, then at CTV, Robertson was one of the longest-serving anchors in North American television history. He calmly guided generations of Canadians through many of the biggest moments of the past half century, and, of course, he had that iconic sign-off: "And that's the kind of day it's been." Now, Robertson is sharing inside stories from the newsroom in his new memoir called, 'The Kind of Life It's Been.' Later, one of the stars of the hilarious BiteTV series, 'Comedy Bar,' Pat Thornton, joins our panelists.
