Wild Dolphin Gets Caught In A Fishing Line And Appears To “Ask” A Diver For Help
January 24, 2013

We all know dolphins are amazing creatures. But we can't remember seeing anything quite as extraordinary as this video.

In it, a wild dolphin gets caught in a fishing line off Hawaii not far from a group of professional, experienced divers.

Incredibly, the dolphin seems to "ask" a diver for help, if you will. It slowly makes its way over to the diver, and calmly waits for him to cut the line.

At times, the dolphin appears to turn and move its body - as if to show the diver where the problem was and where he needs to cut.

Eventually, the diver managed to set the dolphin free.

Martina Wing filmed the video and has been diving for a long time. She spoke to the BBC and described the experience as "mind-blowing."
