Weird Hybrid Animals, As Not Seen In Nature

Remember a few years ago when scientists announced they were working on breeding goats with spiders as a way of harvesting spider silk protein from the goats' milk?

Whatever the potential benefits of the experiment (apparently the resultant substance could be used in medical procedures and car airbags, among other things), it just sounded weird. And it was hard not to picture what a literal cross between a spider and a goat might look like.

Redditor Gyyp is getting a lot of attention for imagining similarly unexpected animal combinations.

But unlike the goats and spiders, there's no science involved here other than the science of serious Photoshop skills.

Gyyp's collection, 'Weird Animals', consists of a whole bunch of animal bodies with other animals' heads attached.

You can check out more of Gyyp's unique (and occasionally disturbing) work over at My Modern Met.
