Bad Sex In Fiction Award

This week, awards season reaches its pinnacle. Last night, the Oscars broke viewership records (and nearly broke Twitter with that outrageously star-studded selfie). And up here in the Great White North it's Canadian Screen Week, culminating in the Canadian Screen Awards, Sunday March 9 at 8 p.m. on CBC.

And while the Oscars and CSAs honour excellence, not all awards are quite as desirable. The Razzies, awarded on the same day as the Oscars, highlight the worst Hollywood has to offer. (This year's Worst Picture went to Movie 43).

The Razzies aren't the only award for which a nomination might be less of a blessing. In the gallery above, we've rounded up some of the most bizarre — and most unfortunate — awards in a variety of fields and categories. May the worst men and women win.

And tonight on The Panel, George talks about the particular appeal of award shows with some of the cast of The Ron James show, including Ron James, Leslie Seiler and Marty Adams. Tune in at 7 p.m. on March 3 on CBC TV.
