There's something undeniably joyous about the high five. It's a simple gesture that carries with it nothing but positive energy. This video, made by Andrew Maxwell-Parish, accurately captures that happy feeling. It features Maxwell-Parish walking around the San Francisco Bay Area randomly giving high fives to people he encounters on the street — and it's filmed the POV of his hand using a GoPro camera mounted on an elaborate piece of headgear. This is how he explains his pretty simple motive: "You can give a random high five to a stranger and, more than likely, it will make them feel better." We couldn't agree more, especially on a Friday morning. You can watch his high-fiving adventure in the video above. And then go give the next person you see a high five! (And if you feel the need to build a high-five cam rig for yourself, Maxwell-Parish's posted a how-to guide online.)
