Jonathan Pararajasingham is a neurosurgeon in London who created a video last summer featuring 100 academics - most of them scientists - sharing their thoughts on the existence of God. You can see that video (in two parts) at the links below. Now Mr. Pararajasingham is back with a video in which 30 well-known writers discuss the idea of God.

The opinions expressed in the video tend toward the skeptical, with the subjects celebrating humanism and rationalism, and critiquing organized religion. The clips are drawn from many sources, and George himself makes a cameo: his interview with Gore Vidal is one of the 30 clips chosen.

Several of the writers who feature in the clip have been guests on the show, including Margaret Atwood, Ken Follett and Salman Rushdie. The late Christopher Hitchens also sat down with George a few years back to talk about his book, 'God is Not Great' and his combative stance on religion. Here are the two parts of that interview:
