VIDEO: Gospel-esque Song Interrupts Foreclosure Auction in New York

The lyrics were simple, the message was hopeful:

Mrs. Auctioneer /
All the people here /
We're asking you to hold off the sales right now /
We're going to survive but we don't know how

So sang a harmonizing group of people who call themselves Organizing for Occupation (O4O) at an auction of foreclosed Brooklyn properties last week. Their singing temporarily halted the auction, and nine singers were arrested when they ignored court officers' requests to stop.
