Amy Tan is in the red chair on tonight's show to talk about her life, her family and her new novel, The Valley of Amazement. Here's something else amazing about the Joy Luck Club author: for years she played in a band called the Rock Bottom Remainders with all sorts of famous authors like Stephen King, Mitch Albom, Dave Barry and Simpsons creator Matt Groening (Dr. Maya Angelou was considered an honourary member).
