The nominees for the Juno Awards came out today, with Carly Rae Jepsen leading the way with five nominations.
Jepsen, who had a huge hit last summer with Call Me Maybe, is up for artist of the year, single of the year, best pop album, best album, and the Juno Fan Choice Award.
Justin Bieber is up for four awards, and is up against Jepsen for best album, best pop album, Juno Fan Choice Award and artist of the year.
Also up for artist of the year are Johnny Reid, electronic artist Deadmau5, and Leonard Cohen.
In all, Cohen received three nods for Juno Fan Choice, Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year for his album Old Ideas. And his son, Adam Cohen, is up for his first Juno - best contemporary album for Like a Man.
Also receiving three nominations - Metric for Group of the Year, Alternative Album of the Year, and Juno Fan Choice; Hedley for Juno Fan Choice, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year; and Marianas Trench for Juno Fan Choice, Album of the Year, and Group of the Year.
In the best rock album category, Rush for Clockwork Angels and the Tragically Hip for Now For Plan A are both nominated.
So are The Sheepdogs for their self-titled album, Billy Talent for Dead Silence and the reunited Big Wreck for Albatross.
In all, 178 artists are recognized with nominations. About 90 of them are first-time nominees, according to The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

The awards gala is set for April 21 in Regina, with 11-time Juno winner Michael Bublé as host. Bublé also has a nomination for the Fan Choice Award and is scheduled to perform.
