The votes from across the country are in, and with their counting we've officially launched into the Canada Reads season! This year's theme is "True Stories"; the list below includes 40 finalists whose works span the genres of memoir, biography and literary non-fiction.


We've listed the finalists below, but if you'd like to vote on which books make the Top 10, visit the Canada Reads page. Voting closes at midnight ET on Sunday, October 30th, so get your lit clicks in while you can! Results will be announced live on Q (and then online) on Tuesday, November 1st.
