Prince Announces ‘Welcome 2 Canada’ Tour
November 3, 2011

There's no one quite like the Artist Presently Known as Prince. He pioneered the "Minneapolis sound", he's released some timeless radio singles ('Little Red Corvette', 'When Doves Cry', 'Purple Rain' - the list goes on), and his sexualized songwriting pushed the boundaries of what a pop song could be.

He's also made some pretty memorable announcements: in 1993, he told the world that he would no longer be known by the name on his birth certificate (Prince Rogers Nelson, for the record). Earlier this year, he stated he'd record no new music until internet piracy is under control. And now, Prince has made an announcement we should all be excited about: he's touring Canada.

The 'Welcome 2 Canada' tour kicks off in Toronto on November 25th. You can grab tickets right here, and check out the tour dates below.
