Consider this one part public service announcement and one part shameless excuse to look at pictures of cuddly alpacas: National Alpaca Farm Days are coming next weekend. That's right, on September 28 and 29, farms across Canada and the U.S. are throwing open their gates and inviting the general public to learn all about the woolly, inquisitive and absurdly cute animals.
Admittedly, most of the participating farms are south of the border, but if you live near Trenton, Markham, Uxbridge or Algonquin Park, Ontario, or Edmonton or Red Deer, Alberta, you're in luck.
Head on over to the official National Alpaca Farm Days website for more information. And try not to die of a cuteness overload.
