Breaking Up Is Hard To Do — But It’s Easier With The Help Of 154 Movie Titles
February 12, 2014
submit to reddit

It can be hard to find the right words to say when you're breaking up with someone. In this comedy video, that problem is taken care of by movie titles. Every single line of dialogue in the piece is the name of a film, stitched together into three-and-a-half minutes of banter at a restaurant as a married couple trades barbs (and an exasperated waitress tries to serve them). The film is the work of a Brooklyn comedy troupe called POYKPAC, whose members spent hours combing through IMDB to produce the script. And as you can see from the video above, the movie titles fit together into an amazingly coherent story.

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
