This Little Girl Signs ‘Jingle Bells’ For Her Deaf Parents At A Holiday Concert

Videos of cute kids singing is one thing. Here's a KODA (kid of deaf adults) singing and signing during a Christmas performance with a class of kindergarteners.

While a chorus of children were belting out some classic holiday tunes at a school concert, Lori Koch's five-year-old daughter, Claire, decided to interpret all the lyrics with sign language so that her parents, who are deaf, could follow along.

Koch uploaded the video of her daughter interpreting the words to holiday favourites like "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "I Have a Little Dreidel."

And yes, despite what some people might wonder after the interpreter scandal at Nelson Mandela's memorial, Koch has assured to Gawker that Claire is using genuine sign language in the video.
