Ever dreamed that the walls were covered with eyes that were staring at you? Or that your teeth were all falling out? Or maybe that you're lost in the woods? Filmmaker Samuel Blain brought those visions to life for his final year graduation film at Northumbria University in the U.K. He interviewed four people sitting up in their beds talking about their most vivid dream, and turned it into this short film, In Dreams. Here's the creepy twist: each person's head is digitally replaced with a 3D embodiment of their nocturnal fear. The doc was an official selection at a number of international film and animation festivals, and won the D&AD Best New Blood award, a prestigious design honour.
