Hidden Life Lessons Buried In Movies, Books and Songs
November 21, 2013

On tonight's panel, George chats with Linda Kash, Paul Bates and Ali Hassan about the sorts of lessons you can glean from the self-help aisle — in other words, lessons on living from perfect strangers. That got us thinking about lessons on life that come from entirely different places, like say a movie theatre or a novel. In fact, if you look closely, you can discern hidden life lessons buried in all kinds of works of art. Check out the gallery above for some examples, from Jaws to "Follow the Drinkin' Gourd."

To catch the self-help panel, tune in to George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight on November 21 at 7 p.m. on CBC.
