George R.R. Martin Drops In On The Finale Of ‘Gay Of Thrones’ (Yes, You Read That Right)

Spoiler alert: do not watch the video below if you haven't yet seen the finale of season four of Game of Thrones (but really, you should have seen it by now).

The hit HBO series Game of Thrones wrapped up its fourth season on Sunday, and since then it feels as though about half of the internet is busy recapping and analyzing every last thing that went down. Case in point: the final episode of Gay of Thrones, a GoT recap series on Funny or Die starring hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness.

In each video, Van Ness sums up the latest episode of the TV show to a different client in his chair using descriptions like "blond Cher" (for Cersei) and “Christina Aguilera” (for Daenerys Targaryen). For the season finale, the episode ends with a hilarious Princess Bride-style cameo from George R.R. Martin, the author of the books and a co-executive producer on the series.

If you ever wanted to hear GRRM drop references to kombucha, kissing and hot yoga, this is the recap for you (there's also a great line for all those GoT fans who continually pester Martin to finish the next instalment in the series).

When Martin was in the red chair, he spoke with George about everything from writing female characters to showing the glorious and gruesome sides of war (hot yoga, however, didn't come up).
