If your daily commute involves passing by bus stops, you've almost certainly come across streetside bench advertisements for local real estate agents. And while they may help bring in new customers for the realtors who put their faces on them, they're not usually likely to win any kind of design awards. Minneapolis designer Phil Jones decided to poke a little fun at their sometimes hokey designs — by dressing up as local realtors and pasting his own face over theirs on the benches.

He spent about a month on the project, borrowing clothes and purchasing wigs (Jones himself wears his hair short) to transform himself into other men and women. He printed the photos of himself on large-format paper, and affixed them to benches with double-sided tape. "I didn't want to ruin their ads," Jones wrote on Reddit. "Just wanted to have a little fun." You can judge for yourself how successful his mission was in the gallery above.
