This Mesmerizing Video Shows Clay Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

If you've ever seen a master potter at work, you know how impressive it can be to watch them create beautiful objects out of formless mounds of clay. Russian artist Mikhail Sadovnikov takes that experience one step further: in his performances, he uses the spinning wheel as a canvas, painting mesmerizing and ever-changing patterns with his fingers as it swivels around. "Dance on the Circle," above, runs 15 hypnotic minutes; we defy you not to get sucked in.
