The lists of the best albums and songs of the year have been pouring in fast and furiously all month. If you're planning to spend some of the holidays catching up on what you might have missed, here's a sampling of the best of those lists from around the web.

To find out what George's favourite songs were this year, you'll have to tune into The Strombo Show on CBC Radio 2, where he'll be counting down the Strombo Hundo, 100 of the best songs from across genres. George will reveal the first half of the Hundo on December 29 at 8 p.m. and the second half on January 5 at 8 p.m. And of course, we'll add his picks to this post when they arrive.
