Stars In The Making? We Hold Our Own "Auditions" For Goon & Murdoch Mysteries

It's been a big week for Canadian Film and Television, as we celebrate the best and the brightest performers in our country.

Tonight is the third and final gala for the Canadian Screen Awards, hosted by the great Martin Short.

And we're pretty excited around here, as George is nominated for 'Best Host in a Variety, Lifestyle, Reality/Competition, Performing Arts or Talk Program or Series'.

Obviously, it'll be a night filled with talent and glamour. But what about the new generation of talent... that special someone who's yet to be discovered?

Well, we got our own Ali Hassan (who was in Goon) and Naomi Snieckus (who's on Mr. D) to give ordinary Canadians something of an audition.

All they had to do was act in scenes from the movie Goon and and the TV show Murdoch Mysteries - both of which are up for Canadian Screen Awards.

Check out the video at the top, and keep an eye out for the celebrity cameo.
