Remember that old feud between Spike Lee and Clint Eastwood? Well, we wanted to know what Spike thought about Clint's much ballyhooed "empty chair" speech from the 2012 Republican Convention.
Spike directed 'Bad 25,' a documentary celebrating the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's Bad album. It airs Thursday, November 22 at 9:30 pm ET/PT on CTV Two.
Spike: (Watching the clip of Clint Eastwood) "Uh oh. You're trying to get me in trouble. (The audience applauses after the clip) I'm not applauding that. I liked Obama's tweet. We can't show that? It was the back of his chair, shot from behind and says 'This seat's taken'".
George: "That's amazing. He's got a sense of humor, doesn't he?"
Spike: "And he said - he's very classy - 'I love Clint. Great actor', and gave him all kinds of accolades, but 'this seat is taken'. (Laughing) I would have responded differently, but that's why he's President of the United States of America."
