Quentin Tarantino Talks Prisons And The War On Drugs

Writer and director Quentin Tarantino sits down with George to talk about his new movie 'Django Unchained', which opens on December 25th. In this clip, Quentin talks about the modern 'War on Drugs' in the United States, and its parallels with slavery. On December 13th, 'Django Unchained' was nominated for five Golden Globe awards, including 'Best Picture - Drama'.

The 'War on Drugs'
It's very depressing. This whole thing of this war on drugs, and the mass incarcerations that have happened pretty much for the last 40 years has just decimated the black male population. It's slavery. It's slavery. It is just slavery through and through.
