Actor John C. McGinley talks about the "Spread the Word to End the Word" campaign, a movement dedicated to ending inappropriate use of the r-word. John also shares his experience with his son, Max, who was born with Down Syndrome.

McGinley stars in the new movie 42, about the rookie season of Hall of Fame baseball player Jackie Robinson. In 1947, Robinson broke baseball's colour barrier, becoming the first African American to play Major League Baseball.

In this clip, John talks about...

The need to take action

"Sooner or later, you have to do. You have to pick some aggressive verb about what you're going to do for this life, for Max. He - You gotta do something for me! Get over your stuff dad, I'm here!"
