Jian Ghomeshi On Strombeshi And Why He Got Into Journalism

In tonight's episode George goes head-to-head with Q's Jian Ghomeshi in the GS Tonight studio for the first time since he was one of the show's correspondents in year two. George and Jian watch themselves being parodied by '22 Minutes' and talk the difficulties of gaining fame when you have an ethnic name. Jian was in the red chair to promote his new memoir '1982,'.

In this clip, Jian talks about...

Dreaming of being in the media
"I remember being 12 - so that would be, you know, around 1980 - and thinking, 'I would love to be in the media somehow, but it'll never happen because my name is too funny, and I've got - and I look a little weird, and my parents are from this strange place that everybody calls evil, so that's just not gonna happen for me.'"
