Dan Aykroyd on Belushi And Ghostbusters 3

Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd remembers his friend and collaborator, John Belushi, who passed away on March 5, 1982. He also discusses the possibility of a Ghostbusters 3, which may or may not involve original cast member Bill Murray.

In February 2013, Dan was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, honouring contributions and achievements made by Canadians from all sectors of society.

In this clip, Dan talks about...

What he's done since John Belushi passed away
"What I tried to was keep John's legacy and the music alive, and spread the message that he wasn't only someone who died in an ignominious manner, he was an intelligent, funny, smart, well-read, considerate, kind, generous, compassionate, passionate artist, and I think of him every day."

The possibility of 'Ghostbusters 3'
Dan: "Well, I'm gonna look at some of the pages here coming up in the next couple of weeks. Got a good hot young writer on it, he wrote 'Men in Black 3', Etan Cohen, and he seems to be on the case, and we'll see.

George: "Is everybody involved from the original crew?"

Dan: "You know, I really don't know what I'm gonna see there. I just know that Billy's expressed an interest in looking at something, but, it's hard to say with Murray. The Murraycane is an unpredictable... Look, there'll always be a place for him if he decides to come."
