Billy Connolly On Growing Old Versus Growing Up

Billy Connolly's new film, 'Quartet', follows a group of retired opera singers navigating the realities of aging. And Billy's character is a great reflection of his real-life personality: he finds the humour in just about any situation, and that's what keeps him young. In this clip, Billy talks about the difference between growing old, and growing up...and why they don't necessarily go together.

'Quartet' hits theatres this Friday, January 18.

In this clip, Billy talks about...

Growing up versus growing old
"I think the trick is not to grow up. By all means grow old. But growing up is always someone else's idea. I've never heard anybody say, 'I think I'll grow up for awhile. Next Wednesday, I think I'll grow up."
