GST S3: Episode 157 - Joy Kogawa

Canadian author Joy Kogawa is in the red chair. She was born in Vancouver in 1935, and when the Second World War hit, Joy and her family were sent to an internment camp for Japanese Canadians. The experience formed the basis for her critically acclaimed novel 'Obasan', and she has continued to write about Japanese culture in the Canadian context ever since. On the Panel, the great Scott Thompson of 'Kids in the Hall' joins us.
