Anthropologist and documentary filmmaker Niobe Thompson explains the unnecessary idea of needing expensive running shoes and how we are a species that was evolved to run. He is the Gemini-winning director of 'The Perfect Runner' - a CBC documentary that has Thompson searching for the ultimate running form from Siberia to Ethiopia to the Canadian Death Race. It premieres tomorrow night (Thurs, Mar 15) at 8PM on CBC.
