If you're a movie fan and you hear the name Graham Greene, you`re very likely to think about his Oscar-nominated role in Dances With Wolves. But this Oscar-nominated actor has more than 100 credits to his name, appearing in movies as different as the blockbuster Twilight series and smaller, independent films like Breakfast With Scott. Graham was born on the Six Nations Reserve near Brantford, Ontario and as remarkable it seems for a guy with so many roles under his belt, acting wasn’t even a consideration when he was a kid. He was a welder. He was a roadie, dealing with "whiny musicians" for a living before taking to the stage for good. His current projects include Maina from director Michel Poulette, an epic imagining of the first encounter between the Innu and Inuit peoples in pre-contact Canada. Nowadays, Graham makes his home in Stratford, Ontario which is pretty convenient for a guy who likes to take a turn on stage, such as when he played Shakespeare’s Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. Currently, Greene stars in the hit sci-fi post-alien invasion series Defiance, playing a mine owner trying to hold his family together.
