Shaun Majumder may be known for his comic sensibilites and dramatic roles. But he's also proving you can go home again.
Shaun grew up in tiny Burlington, Newfoundland, And used his experience of growing up "beige" in a small town to become one of Canada's most popular comedians.
He honed his skills at '22 Minutes' where he's just about perfected his popular alter ego 'Raj Binder'.
Then, moved to Hollywood where he's been in everything from '24' to the cop drama 'Detroit 1-8-7' to the TV series adaptation of John Grisham's bestseller 'The Firm'.
Shaun also took centre stage in a documentary that filmed his cross Canada stand up tour - 'Every Word Is Absolutely True'.
But as the saying goes, 'Home is where the heart is'.
Shaun and his wife Shelby are busy trying to transform his Newfoundland hometown into a sustainable tourist destination.
And their filming every part of it for the new television series 'Majumder Manor'.
