What's in a name? Well, if that name happens to be Quentin Tarantino, a lot.

Over his career, a "Tarantino movie" has come to represent something big, and something unique. There's the music, the relentless action and, of course, that famous Tarantino dialogue - combined, they make a movie quintessential Quentin.

And, movies have always been Quentin's escape: after dropping out of school, he wound up working at a video rental store in Southern California, the perfect place to study movies, and master his trade.

With his first effort, 'Reservoir Dogs', Quentin became a overnight sensation; then, with 'Pulp Fiction', he became an Oscar winner and an icon.

Two decades later, Quentin has made a long list of great films, from 'Kill Bill' to 'Inglourious Basterds'. And remember, he's not just a director, he's a writer, too - from start to finish, Quentin is telling the stories he wants to tell.

Now, he's turned his attention to a painful chapter in American history: Quentin's latest is 'Django Unchained', about a freed slave-turned-bounty hunter, played by Jamie Foxx, featuring all the vengeance and furious anger you've come to expect.

It's nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
