This is the story of Jay Baruchel and Alison Pill: a couple of Canadian kids who met, made a movie, and fell in love. And like any good Canadian story, it involves hockey. Oh, hockey - is there anything you can't do?

But first, the back story: Jay you know from films like 'Million Dollar Baby', 'Tropic Thunder' and 'Knocked Up'. At just 29, he's already built an incredible career. And he's done it all without moving to Hollywood. Jay still lives in Montreal, in the neighbourhood where he grew up.

Alison, meanwhile, grew up in Toronto. When she was 18, she moved to New York to make her mark in theatre, and in 2006 earned a Tony nomination. Lately, she's been all over the big screen: in 'Milk', opposite Sean Penn, in 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World' and, in Woody Allen's Oscar-nominated 'Midnight in Paris'.

But, like I said, this is a love story. Jay and Alison met on the set of 'Goon': a bloody - and timely - film about a small-town bouncer who becomes a hockey enforcer. Jay co-wrote the script and getting 'Goon' made was a dream come true. But for both Jay and Alison, nothing comes close to the love story playing out in real life.
