On Thursday, children's entertainment legend Fred Penner is in the red chair.

The nicest man to ever crawl through a hollow log, his show 'Fred Penner's Place' was guided by an unwavering belief that he could positively influence children's lives.

And he did.

Dubbed "The Canadian Ambassador of Positivity," Fred signed off from his show with: "take good care of each other."

We trusted him. And we still do.
