I always thought one of the (hundreds) of big problems with Kevin Costner's Waterworld was that it was supposed to be way in the future. Instead, Dennis Hopper and his goons were ripping around on contemporary jet skis?
I mean, come on. It was supposed to be, like, the year 2500 or whatever. Somebody would have invented jet packs or something before the ice caps melted, right?
Well, back in the real world, somebody has: Canadian inventor Raymond Li.
See? It's perfect for 'Waterworld.' It's designed for 'Waterworld.' And after about a decade of development, it's supposed to be on sale this summer.
I'm totally getting one. Well, after I mortgage my house, or sell a kidney. Apparently, they cost about $140K.
