U.S. Apologizes for Guatemala Syphilis Experiment

U.S. Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, has officially apologized for an experiment the U.S. government performed in the 1940s in which they deliberately infected hundreds of Guatemalans with syphilis and gonorrhea using prostitutes. The purpose was to study the subjects once they developed the disease - only they didn't inform the subjects they were doing so.
