Chinese Twitter User Seized After Supporting Liu Xiaobo

Chinese police have arrested the wife of jailed Nobel peace prize winner Liu Xiaobo after she posted on Twitter that she would march with a banner to praise her fella.

Obviously the impact of social media has been well documented. But it will be interesting to see the role it plays in the next few years in places like China, where those who were once easy to silence now have powerful tools to reach the outside world.

Twitter may end up being the one thing that the oppressive government of China can't ultimately control...
