What’s on Lisa Simpson’s Bookshelf?

She's always been the brainy one in the family, so it's not that crazy there's now a Tumblr called Lisa Simpson's Book Club that celebrates the voracious book-learning of the middle Simpson child.

The participatory blog by Atlantic associate editor Jared Keller and Michelle Legro of Lapham's Quarterly started off as a curated list of the works - and accompanying screen captures of the books - Lisa has been spotted reading in episodes of The Simpsons. Now they'd like your help to build her virtual library.

If you're watching an episode from any of the show's 23 seasons and you notice a moment of Lisa reading a particular book, or an image that makes any sort of literary reference at all on The Simpsons, they'd love for you to submit to the site here.

And not to worry - there's no way for this particular blog to be turned into a moneymaking-for-the-site-editors book that crowdsources all its content for free. Because, of course, if anybody's going to make money off The Simpsons... it'll be Fox.
