Economic Comic
October 13, 2011
submit to reddit

This comic strip economics lesson was originally published in Bill Watterson's classic, Calvin and Hobbes.

You may have seen this strip back in late 2008/early 2009, when it started making the rounds online during the first signs of the worsening economy. Despite being published around 1994, its supply-and-demand distillation seemed eerily prescient ... and suddenly, very relevant.

With Occupy Wall Street protests making the news daily, its relevance has resulted in another big viral presence. (Click the image for a larger version.)
