Jim Treliving On The Difference Between Customers And Suspects

Boston Pizza boss and Dragons' Den resident Jim Treliving was on a very different career track before he got his start in business: He was an RCMP police officer. As he tells George in the clip below, it wasn't always a smooth transition.

"I look at what we started out as with a little pizza shop in Penticton, British Columbia in 1968, and I look at what I was doing at that time, and I - for two, almost a year and a half, two years, I'm walking around the place, and finally a friend of mine comes and says, "Jim, you gotta start smiling, they're customers not suspects!"
