September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month in the U.S., and the Pinal County Library District in Arizona came up with a clever and stylish way to get people excited about getting a card.

This series of mock book covers features 30 benefits of library membership — one for each day of September. The Library District site writes that the graphics were designed by Ann Leonard, a librarian who works on emerging technologies, and "inspired by the colourful, minimalist and retro design style of Penguin and Pelican classic paperback novels."

Some of the benefits depicted on the covers relate to books, obviously, but they also point to some of the other stuff you can do at the library, like getting computer access, planning ahead for higher education and even arts and crafts.

You can see all 30 designs at the Pinal Libraries Pinterest page.
